Co-operation meeting between acting Director of “Expertise Centre of the Republic of Armenia” SNCO Davit Ghulyan and Professor of Physical Chemistry at Imperial College London Sergei Kazarian takes place
On 15 July, a meeting between acting Director of “Expertise Centre of the Republic of Armenia” SNCO Davit Ghulyan, Professor of Physical Chemistry at Imperial College London, member of the Royal Society of Chemistry Sergei Kazarian, as well as Head of the Material Science, Fire-Technical and Electrotechnical Expertise Division Shushanik Andreasyan, with the participation of the heads of other divisions took place.
A tour took place in the course of the visit, during which the Professor became familiar with the newly-acquired equipment of the Centre and their capacities. Effective co-operation formats were discussed during the meeting.
Thanks to the newly-acquired equipment of the Centre, the equipped logistical base and the co-operation with Professor Sergei Kazarian, it will be possible to improve the existing methods and have new achievements in the field of criminalistics, in particular, the application of the infra-red spectrometry, by expanding the scope of issues resolved during expertises.
It should be noted that the Professor’s methods are actively applied in various countries today in the field of criminology, but he co-operates with special devotion with the scientific groups and organisation of Armenia.
At the end of the meeting, a bilateral agreement on effective co-operation, as well as the ongoing nature of the meeting was reached.
