On 31 March and 4 April 2023 the first session of the current year of the existing
Commission for Qualification of Forensic Expert of the Ministry of Justice of the
Republic of Armenia, chaired by Director of the "Expert Center of the Republic of
Armenia" SNCO David Gulyan, was held.
The intern experts of the Traceological, Material Sciences, Fire-Technical and
Electrical, Biological and Narcotic Forensic, Construction-Technical, Commodity and
Real Estate Valuation, Forensic Psychiatric, Cultural, as well as Video Recording and

Computer-Technical Examination Departments of the Expert Center, including the
previously qualified experts managed to answer the professional and legal questions
posed by the Commission through a question-and-answer session held during an
oral exam. We would like to inform that the following participated in the session of the
Commission for Qualification of Forensic Expert in the system of the Ministry of
Justice (hereinafter referred to as “the Commission”): Chairperson of the Commission
and Director of the "Expert Center of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO David Gulyan,
Deputy Chairperson of the Commission, Associate Director of the "Expert Center of
the Republic of Armenia" SNCO Samvel Yeghiazaryan, members of the Commission
Vahe Achemyan (expert of the Control Department of the Ministry of Justice), Eduard
Khachatryan (Head of Legal Support and Staff Management Department of the "Expert
Center of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO), Vahan Ghazaryan (Head of the Department of
Expertise in the Evaluation of Commodity Science and Real Estate of the "Expert Center
of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO, Shushanik Andreasyan (Head of the Department of
Materials Science, Fire-Technical and Electrical Expertise of the "Expert Center of the
Republic of Armenia" SNCO), Elen Babayan (senior expert of the Department of
Traceological Examinations of the "Expert Center of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO),
Zhorzh Tsaturyan (Head of the Department of Examination of Road Accidents of the
"Expert Center of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO), Artur Andreasyan (Head of the
Department of Biological and Narcotic Forensic Examinations of the "Expert Center of the
Republic of Armenia" SNCO), Vache Ninoyan (Head of the Department of Video
Recording and Computer-Technical Expertise of the "Expert Center of the Republic of
Armenia" SNCO), Martin Aleksanyan (Secretary of the Commission, Adviser to the
Director of the "Expert Center of the Republic of Armenia" SNCO).
The Qualification Commission granted qualification of forensic expert to 14 experts.
